Have you ever been to a morning wedding? That’s right. Morning. I had not, until Saturday, when Ben & Nicole got married. In fact, when I first met with Ben & Nicole, they told me they were doing a morning wedding, and I really didn’t think much of it. It wasn’t until we were putting together the timeline for their big day, that I realized what all came with a morning wedding 🙂
The last time I woke up at 4AM was back when I did morning workouts, so I am happy to say that I was all about waking up at 4AM as long as it didn’t include working out 🙂 With that being said, the parties started downtown Des Moines at the Staybridge Suites before heading to the ceremony and reception at the beautiful Botanical Garden.
The ceremony was at 9AM, and the couple hosted a brunch with cinnamon rolls for desserts. They even cut into a cinnamon roll for their “cake”. It was seriously so much fun, unique, and everybody really enjoyed it!
You’ll have to check out all of the unique details below. Not only are the rings so cool (his has wood in it), but at each place setting, they had a newspaper created that was all about them. So fun!
A big shout out to Anthony and his team at Out of Box Productions for the planning and design of the wedding. It was perfect, on time, and gorgeous! And can we look at the GORGEOUS flowers done by the very talented Flowers 101 by Courtney? She definitely knocked it out of the park with this one!
